Look...out
on the prairie!
Who's that drivin' the herd???
It's Cowboy Bob...and he's comin'yer way!!!
Yessiree buckaroos,
Cowboy Bob is the last of a dyin' breed, an old cowpoke cut from the
same cloth as our pioneer forefathers. A simple, honest, knowin' man
who loves and respects nature and all her creatures.
Whether it's a song
about a world-class hole diggin' gopher, a sneaky snake or a story about
unlikey heros of the wild wild west, you can be sure Cowboy Bob's saddle
bags are always full of surprises!!!
Cowboy
Bob, (aka Mark Behrend), is a Saskatoon singer/songwriter who
loves being a cowboy. He's written numerous songs for CBC Radio and
Television and has won several awards, including a 1994 Saskatchewan
Motion Picture Industry Association Award for Down on the Farm, a children's
TV show and a Sam Ross Award(1992) for Best Editorial in a Music Video
Format. In 2002, Mark's CD Cowboy Bob's "Buckaroo Roundup" was nominated for an Canadian Indie Award. When he's not
writing new music or performing as a children's entertainer, Mark produces
television commercials and writes humourous stories about acreage life. Mark, or CB, as his friends like to call him and his happy little family live at the Buckaroo Ranch, a pretty, rolling ten acre slice of heaven just south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
